For 22 mm handlebars – 120mm long More and more new motorcycles are getting it, and for good reason! It's so annoying to freeze your fingers. In the past, you were looked at a bit like a crazy person when you had heated grips, possibly because they were big and bulky, with a switch the size of a round tower. That's not the case anymore. These cool heated grips are discreet and don't take up much more space than the original ones. The cable is discreetly hidden on the underside and the switch set is built into the left handle. With a colorful scale, you can easily see which setting the grips are on. Installation is straightforward and doesn't require a major technical exam, but it can take some time, especially on faired bikes.The Koso Apollo heated grips are Pitbox's absolute favorite.
The handles boast 5 heat level settings, an LED indicator, and a built-in switch right next to the thumb.
The quality of the Koso HG13 handles is unmatched, everything from the wires to the fuse holder is made to last for many years and keep water far away. The Koso HG13, as the handles are also called, has a built-in safety device that ensures that the handles turn off themselves if the voltage gets too low. This way, the handles are never to blame for starting difficulties.Good quality!
The Apollo handles from Koso are, as I said, Pitboxen's absolute favorite. This is partly due to the function and design, but also the fact that with more than 50 sets sold, we have never had a complaint. Unfortunately, we can't say that with other brands we have had.Installing heated handles:
As with everything else we've tried before, we find that installing heated grips is easy. However, there are some traps you can easily fall into when installing them.- Power – Contrary to what you might think, the handles don't draw a lot of power. But you still need to find a stable power source. You should always mount the handles on an ignition positive, we often use power for the headlight as a source.
- Cables – it is important that the cables for your Koso heated grips run neatly and are not pinched together under, for example, the seat or tank. It is better to spend an extra hour finding a good route and use plenty of cable ties.
- The fuse – It is a good idea to position the fuse holder so that water cannot run into it, although a lot has been done to keep it tight, but... Also, mount the fuse holder in a place where you can get to it without having to disassemble too much.
- Mounting the handles – You need to use your head a little here. Because if you mount the handle on the throttle side incorrectly, it can get stuck at the brake lever! It is important that you clean the handlebars and throttle roller thoroughly before mounting the new handles. A VERY strong and fast-drying glue is included for the handles, so make a plan for the installation before applying glue, and have a handle on how the cable on your handle should turn before. It is EXTREMELY important that the handles are pushed inwards onto the handlebars and throttle roller in a firm/hard movement. You have to keep going, because they are tight. If you don't succeed and the glue dries before you have the handles in place, it is very difficult to move on without damaging the handles. Never hit the end of the handle with a rubber hammer or anything else. The electronics in the handles are sensitive to impact and the warranty does not cover broken handles that have been damaged due to violence.

Does the product fit my motorcycle?
When choosing products for your motorcycle it is important to have 100% control over the production year and NOT the year of first registration. For example, a Suzuki GSXR600 K7 registered in 200 is not a 20210 model, but a forgotten 2007 model that was first registered in 2010.
This is of utmost importance to ensure you get the correct product.
I have received a product that does not fit my motorcycle, what now?
You always have a 14-day right of return on items purchased at pitboxen.dk, we will of course exchange them for the product you need. However, custom-ordered/custom-made products are not accepted for return.
What is the delivery time?
The majority of our range is either in stock at our remote warehouse in Germany, and can be delivered within 4-6 business days, or in stock at our main warehouse in Denmark, and can be delivered the next business day if the order is placed before 12:00.
For products such as suspension, rims and some exhaust systems, different delivery times apply, as these are often produced to order. The delivery time will be stated on the individual product.

Right of withdrawal
There is a 14-day full right of return on items purchased on the website unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order. Specially designed/manufactured items (including custom-fitted suspension) are NOT covered by the right of return.
Some special items are considered special items and cannot be ordered through the website with normal terms, here you will have to tick that you waive your right of return. This only applies to special items.
The 14 day period starts on the day the order is delivered.
Any return costs are borne by the customer.
Requests for cancellation must be notified to us no later than 14 days after delivery and must reach us no later than 14 days after we are informed of your use of the right of cancellation.
Requests to exercise the right of withdrawal must be sent by email to info@pitboxen.dk . The message must clearly state your desire to exercise the right of withdrawal.
Condition of the item upon return
The item may be unpacked and inspected, but must be returned in its original packaging and without any signs of use. This means that you may not assemble or use the product. Likewise, goods with damaged packaging, or goods in dirty packaging that could not be sold as new, are not accepted for return. Electronic products in sealed packaging are not accepted for return if the seal is broken. Products cannot be returned if they have been installed.
If the item has been installed or used, Pitboxen reserves the right to refuse the return. In such cases, Pitboxen may consider the item to be of diminished value and offer a refund of a smaller portion or none of the purchase price. It is up to Pitboxen to assess the condition of the item.
Refund of the price of the item
All refunds are processed backwards in our shop system. This means that when we credit your order, the refund of the payment is processed in the opposite direction in our system and via our payment acquirer. This applies if you have paid via mobilepay or with a payment card. If you have paid via bank transfer, we will contact you to get your account number for the refund.
You can expect the amount to be refunded to your account 3-5 days after we have processed your return.
Pitboxen does not refund shipping costs when using regular returns.
Right of complaint
There is a minimum 2-year warranty on products at pitboxen.dk, in accordance with the Danish Sales Act. The warranty applies to all defects in software, materials and manufacturing.
Complaints regarding defects and deficiencies must be notified to Pitboxen within a reasonable time after receipt of the goods. Here, a maximum of two months is considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed. Pitboxen.dk will cover shipping costs in connection with the return of goods for complaints, in which case we will send you a link to print a shipping label.
The complaint is void in the event of incorrect or unusual operation of the product.
