To get a motorcycle to run properly in the closed loop area, the area where the lambda sensor is active, it is necessary to disconnect the lambda sensor when the bike is to be trimmed. Otherwise, the lambda sensor will constantly ask the engine management to provide less fuel. When you disconnect the lambda sensor, the ECU will then register this as an error and turn on the FI lamp. By installing this eliminator, you avoid FI errors. Check under vehicle fitment that you get the correct one.
