Chain tool for riveting motorcycle chains in the 35/40/50 and 60 series

This tool is the perfect tool for riveting motorcycle chains with solid rivets. Once you have clamped the locking plate over the rivets, you mount this tool by screwing the counter screws in against the press link, then you give the blank pin a hard blow with a hammer, turn the pin 90 degrees and repeat. Then one pin is riveted, and you can repeat the process for pin number two. Please note that this tool is only for riveting motorcycle chains, it cannot compress link plates or break chains. Tip: You can use a nut with a larger diameter than the pin to lie on the outside of the press link and clamp it in place using pipe wrenches. Remember to counter-hold the pin on the back of the chain.
