Hyperpro steering damper - CSC - Linear

Hyperpro's CSC steering damper is a linear steering damper that maintains the same resistance throughout the entire stroke. They provide stability to the steering on motorcycles that tend to wobble and sway a bit when riding over white lines or are a little hard on the throttle, so the bike rides on the rear wheels, thereby also avoiding tank slappers.

We've probably all seen the bad videos where a motorcycle goes completely into a spin on the way out of a corner or after a wheelie. It can be fatal and a handlebar damper greatly limits the risk of this.

Linear steering damper - Not the best solution for everything and everyone

Although a linear steering damper is the absolute best-seller, there are purposes where a progressive steering damper (RSC) may be a better solution for you. This primarily applies if you have a motorcycle where you feel that the steering is right in the eye and you do not want to spoil the nice free feeling of the steering, but simply want a steering damper as a safety device. Where the CSC damper comes into its own is in cases where you do not feel that the bike is quite stable enough around curves, as well as on a straight road. If it tends to become "alive" over the white stripes or hit the handlebars lightly, then it is without question a linear steering damper you should use.

Regular vs Reversed

This type of handlebar damper is reversed as in the picture, if the description for your mounting kit says that you need a Reversed handlebar damper, it is because the text on the handlebar damper will be upside down otherwise.
