Preload:

This shock absorber comes standard with mechanical preload. But can be ordered with hydraulic preload adjustment, as an option. This type of shock absorber has adjustable Hi and Low speed compression damping. This does not mean that you have to adjust to low speed when driving slowly, and hi speed when driving fast. This means that you have an adjustment screw to handle instability on soft bumps and hills (low speed). As well as an adjustment screw to handle sharp-edged holes and small bumps.
