Preload:

This shock absorber is available with hydraulic preload adjustment as an option. Rebound

This shock absorber has adjustable rebound, or in Danish, return damping.

Compression

This shock absorber type has adjustable Hi and Low speed compression damping. This does not mean that you have to adjust low speed when driving slowly, and hi speed when driving fast. It means that you have an adjustment screw to handle instability on soft bumps and hills (low speed). As well as an adjustment screw to handle sharp-edged holes and small bumps. (Hi speed)

On some shock absorbers it is possible to get the shock absorber in a longer or shorter model. This is super smart if you want to lower your bike, for example. If measurements are given below, you can get the shock absorber the number of mm shorter that the minus indicates and the number of mm longer than the plus indicates.
