HEL thumb brake for mounting on the fork leg

If you have watched World Superbikes (SBK) or MotoGP, you have 100% certainty seen this brilliant solution! It is a thumb brake to replace the original foot brake. The advantages of this are many. First, you can brake with full pressure without the risk of the pedal hitting the asphalt and secondly, it is significantly easier to dose the brake this way. The solution is also super good if you either struggle with mobility in your foot or if you experiment with rear-wheel driving and other stunts. Well, of course you also have to have the WOW factor! The thumb brake is NOT a plug and play solution and requires careful consideration of your brake system. The brake is supplied for mounting on the handlebars and does not include brake hoses etc. It must be measured and purchased separately. We can also handle this for you, just as we can handle the complete installation. Both the master part and the "grip" are made of CNC milled 6082 aluminum like everything else from HEL. This ensures the best tolerances and the best feel with the brake. This model is for mounting on the fork leg and is available in diameters 40-41-42-43-44-45-46-47-48-49-50-51-52-53-54-55-56-57 and 58mm. Please note the diameter of your fork leg.

English: Fully CNC machined from 6082 aluminum and finished in either hard anodised gray or black. Comes complete with brake fluid reservoir, reservoir bracket, tubing, thumb master cylinder and fork bracket to mount. The HEL Performance Thumb Brake features a multi-position lever so that the individual can set the product where comfortable. The levers can be extended in situ to meet the riders' needs. The lever features pressed in bearings, something we will be looking to include on the standard master cylinders in the future, to offer minimal interference. All the metal parts are machined in-house at our HQ in Exeter, UK and assembled by hand before being checked, engraved with an individual warranty number and packaged ready for despatch.
