Many brake masters are now cast in aluminum to achieve a lower price. This method has advantages and disadvantages. One of the major disadvantages is that both threads and flow channels etc. must be machined for the master to be effective. But even after machining there can be small pockets and unevenness in the surface, which means that the master has a poorer flow and you can't make the same tolerances. These HEL brake and clutch master cylinders are milled from a solid block of aluminum and therefore all surfaces are meticulously machined. In addition to a better brake master with better flow, you also get a master that has a very nice surface. This is hardware that beats the best-selling masters on the market in terms of length! Everything is optimized to perfection, even the red logo that is painted with a brush by hand! Each master takes an hour of pure machining in the milling machine to make. The Master is made with a smart gear system that allows you to get three different gears with the same piston diameter. This means you can adjust the amount of force you want to use. 18x19 will require less force than 20x19, as the gearing changes with the gearing. There is of course a high-mounted vent screw for easier venting. HEL's brake masters are developed in Superbike and are used, among other things, in BSB (British superbikes) where the gear is tested to the extremes, this also means that the masters have been exposed to all worst case scenarios.
