OZ Piega KAWASAKI Z900 RS 2018 - 2024

Designed and manufactured in Italy. Most people know OZ from the automotive world, but in recent years OZ has also taken the motorcycle world by storm and today 70% of the MotoGP field use OZ rims. OZ is not just for racing though. These forged OZ Piega rims are made for street use and are approved to JWL standards, just like the original wheels on most motorcycles. The Piega rim is made to OZ's strictest requirements for strength, surface finish and weight. Low weight and less rotating mass = Steerability The weight of the OZ Piega varies slightly from MC model to MC model, as there is often a difference in hubs etc., but for example, the BMW S1000R from 2015, there is a weight difference of about 700g on the front wheel, and over 1000g on the rear wheel. It may not sound like much, but we can PROMISE you that it makes a HUGE difference. For example, 100g on the outer edge, against the tire, will weigh 82kg more at 150km/h! Centralization of weight. OZ does a REALLY good job of getting the weight away from the largest diameter of the rim, as centrifugal force is greatest here and will therefore affect steering response the most. So often you can't use weight differences on wheels to their full potential. A rim that is 200g lighter than another can actually affect the desired intention of steering response negatively, if the lighter wheel has the weight savings around the hub, and is heavier on the outer diameter.

The ULTIMATE Tuning

With a set of OZ Piega rims KAWASAKI Z900 RS 2018 - 2024 you are guaranteed world-class driving characteristics. The low rotating mass will positively affect everything from steering response to braking characteristics and acceleration. The less weight that has to accelerate to speed, the more effect on the rear wheel and the faster acceleration. The same applies with the opposite sign when you have to brake. Your suspension will also be less stressed by the lower unsprung weight. Less gyro effect will also make direction changes significantly easier, especially at higher speeds.

All OZ Piega rims can be supplied as standard in the following colours: Matt black, Gloss black or Gold. - Please note the colour you want when ordering. For an additional charge and delivery time, you can have your OZ Piega rims custom-made in the following colors. Anodized: Glossy titanium, Glossy gold, Matte blue, Glossy blue, Matte red, Glossy red, Matte titanium. Painted: Repsol Orange.

What is included with OZ Piega?

OZ Piega comes complete with mounted ball bearings, chain drive and shock clutch for this. Sprocket can be ordered separately as an accessory, but only in 520. Pitboxen stocks sizes 40-47T. Please note that brake discs are not included. The OEM discs, or aftermarket discs for the OEM rims, fit the OZ Piega. Pitboxen can help you find light and effective upgrade discs, as well as titanium bolts, to complete your setup.

Delivery time, ordering, payment and right of withdrawal : Important

Normal delivery time for OZ rims is 8-10 weeks. From January to April, delivery time can be up to 14 weeks.

Payment:

OZ wheels are a special item that is made to order for you. Therefore, the wheels are paid for in advance when ordering.

Cancellation and return policy:

By ordering these wheels, you ACCEPT that the order is binding and cannot be cancelled within the specified delivery time. You also ACCEPT that there is NO right of return on these goods, as they are a custom product, made for you, according to your wishes for color. As a customer, you are responsible for providing the correct information regarding your motorcycle when ordering. If, for example, rims are ordered for the wrong year, Pitboxen is not responsible for this if you have provided incorrect information when ordering. Remember that years are ALWAYS the production year and NOT the year of first registration.
