All our Hyperpro shock absorbers are delivered set up for a driver weight of between 90-100kg. Of course, this does not suit everyone, so there is the option to have your shock absorber custom built with a spring that suits you. When choosing springs, there are several things to consider.
  1. What percentage of your driving is done with passengers?
  2. What percentage of your driving is done with luggage?
  3. What percentage of your driving is done with passengers and luggage?
  4. What percentage of your driving is done solo?
The sum of these must give 100% If you ride up to 70% of your rides solo, we recommend that you do not compensate for this on the spring. However, if you always have the cone on the back, it makes sense to get a stiffer spring that covers the total load on your motorcycle. It is the case that a spring is always a compromise and even if you have spring preload that you can work with, it is not enough to compensate 100% for a passenger. But since the spring on your new Hyperpro shock is much stronger than on your original shock, the bike will work better even with the standard spring on your new Hyperpro. In addition, it is progressive so it gets harder the more it is loaded. Here at Pitboxen, we believe that you always "challenge" the bike and your own abilities a little more when riding solo than when riding with a passenger, which is why it is also more important that the bike is correctly tuned for the driver than for the combination of driver and passenger. Unless more than half of the rides are done with a passenger. It may all sound a bit cryptic, but in essence it is simple. If you ride up to 70% of your rides solo, we only base our decision on your own weight + equipment. If you ride more than 50% of your rides with a passenger, we can compensate with a slightly stiffer spring and would recommend hydraulic preload adjustment as an option. If you ride all your rides with a passenger, we base our decision on the total weight of the bike. It is important to understand that you cannot create a solution that fits 100% of all scenarios. But we promise to do our best When ordering this option - it is important that you note your weight + equipment under comments.

Does the product fit my motorcycle?

When choosing products for your motorcycle it is important to have 100% control over the production year and NOT the year of first registration. For example, a Suzuki GSXR600 K7 registered in 200 is not a 20210 model, but a forgotten 2007 model that was first registered in 2010.

This is of utmost importance to ensure you get the correct product.

I have received a product that does not fit my motorcycle, what now?

You always have a 14-day right of return on items purchased at pitboxen.dk, we will of course exchange them for the product you need. However, custom-ordered/custom-made products are not accepted for return.

What is the delivery time?

The majority of our range is either in stock at our remote warehouse in Germany, and can be delivered within 4-6 business days, or in stock at our main warehouse in Denmark, and can be delivered the next business day if the order is placed before 12:00.

For products such as suspension, rims and some exhaust systems, different delivery times apply, as these are often produced to order. The delivery time will be stated on the individual product.

Right of withdrawal

There is a 14-day full right of return on items purchased on the website unless otherwise agreed or stated in your order. Specially designed/manufactured items (including custom-fitted suspension) are NOT covered by the right of return.

Some special items are considered special items and cannot be ordered through the website with normal terms, here you will have to tick that you waive your right of return. This only applies to special items.

The 14 day period starts on the day the order is delivered.

Any return costs are borne by the customer.

Requests for cancellation must be notified to us no later than 14 days after delivery and must reach us no later than 14 days after we are informed of your use of the right of cancellation.

Requests to exercise the right of withdrawal must be sent by email to info@pitboxen.dk . The message must clearly state your desire to exercise the right of withdrawal.

Condition of the item upon return

The item may be unpacked and inspected, but must be returned in its original packaging and without any signs of use. This means that you may not assemble or use the product. Likewise, goods with damaged packaging, or goods in dirty packaging that could not be sold as new, are not accepted for return. Electronic products in sealed packaging are not accepted for return if the seal is broken. Products cannot be returned if they have been installed.

If the item has been installed or used, Pitboxen reserves the right to refuse the return. In such cases, Pitboxen may consider the item to be of diminished value and offer a refund of a smaller portion or none of the purchase price. It is up to Pitboxen to assess the condition of the item.

Refund of the price of the item

All refunds are processed backwards in our shop system. This means that when we credit your order, the refund of the payment is processed in the opposite direction in our system and via our payment acquirer. This applies if you have paid via mobilepay or with a payment card. If you have paid via bank transfer, we will contact you to get your account number for the refund.

You can expect the amount to be refunded to your account 3-5 days after we have processed your return.

Pitboxen does not refund shipping costs when using regular returns.

Right of complaint

There is a minimum 2-year warranty on products at pitboxen.dk, in accordance with the Danish Sales Act. The warranty applies to all defects in software, materials and manufacturing.

Complaints regarding defects and deficiencies must be notified to Pitboxen within a reasonable time after receipt of the goods. Here, a maximum of two months is considered a reasonable time, unless otherwise agreed. Pitboxen.dk will cover shipping costs in connection with the return of goods for complaints, in which case we will send you a link to print a shipping label.

The complaint is void in the event of incorrect or unusual operation of the product.
