In the Pitbox we always talk about performance. But no matter how expensive the suspension you invest in, how much engine tuning you do, or how massive the brake upgrade you do, all of these elements are measures that only improve that specific point and to get an improvement everywhere, you have to make an effort on all points. That's not the case with lightweight wheels. Light wheels with lower rotating mass make the bike significantly more maneuverable (faster in corners). This means that there is less unsprung weight (less stress on the suspension).
