The shock absorber is an emulsion shock absorber, which means that it is compact and without an external reservoir. In this way, you can produce a cheap/efficient shock absorber that beats OEM shock absorbers in a big way, but at a small price. The disadvantage of an emulsion shock absorber is that it is not suitable for track use or hardcore off-road, and it also does not have adjustable compression. However, it is still a massive upgrade. When you buy a Hyperpro shock absorber for SUZUKI GS 500 E you get a shock absorber that can be customized according to your wishes and needs. All shock absorbers are delivered as a starting point to fit a driver of 95-100kg including equipment. However, if you are significantly heavier or lighter than this, it is possible to have a weight-adjusted spring installed. You can select this under related items when you put the shock absorber in the basket. The same applies to hydraulic spring preload and adjustable length. On many shock absorbers this is also an option. You will be able to read below whether it is an option for your motorcycle, and if it is, you can add this when you have put the shock absorber in the basket. It is important that you note your weight under comments if you choose to purchase a weight-specific spring. It is also important that you note whether your shock absorber should be raised or lowered, if this appears as an option further down. This does not cost extra. Preload:

This shock absorber comes with mechanical preload and hydraulic preload is unfortunately not an option. The preload is adjusted with a special tool that is included.

Rebound

This shock absorber has adjustable rebound, or in Danish, return damping.

Compression

There is no adjustable compression damping on an emulsion shock absorber. If you need compression damping, you should look into the options for a shock absorber with an external reservoir.

Length adjustment:

It is not possible to adjust the length of this damper and it is also not possible to purchase it as an option. The length matches the OEM damper unless otherwise stated in the description.

Raising or lowering

It is not possible to change the height of this shock absorber. Height adjustment: raising/lowering, not possible on this damper

If your motorcycle has two rear shock absorbers, this is included in the price. So you don't have to put two in your basket. Hyperpro's signature color is purple, but you can also choose a black spring for your shock at no charge. Just note which color you want in the comments.
